The Latest

Ok, so in all honesty, I can only remember two of the hairstyles from last week (I really should have written them down) so I’ll add some extra hairstyle days to the end of the school year to make up for it. What I can tell you is that the off- center half- up braid is from Thursday. Friday, I did a few braids that came back into a clip. So, not very eventful, but there they are.
This week so far, I’ve done (Monday) Legolas’s hairstyle from the hobbit: two braids that come back into a fishtail ponytail.
Tuesday I did the braided flower that’s pictured above. I particularly love this hairstyle because it’s the hairstyle that I did for one of my friends as the lead in our play at school.
And yesterday (wed) I did the “alternative braid” from cutegirlshairstyles.com. Its super easy, but I can vouch for it looking better on girls with thicker hair.
I’ll post today’s hairstyle later today.
Hopefully the WiFi keeps on working, because I don’t want to have to procrastinate any moreh

Yay! I finally found a way to do a French twist! I never thought I could because my hair was too long and too thin, but here it is :)

These hairstyles are Monday’s through Thursday’s. I didn’t do a hairstyle on Friday because I went to ComicCon in St. Louis and didn’t stay at school.
The first on looks a little similar to a heart hairstyle I’ve done, but I can assure you it’s different. Instead of swirling the braids at the to (making the top of the heart), I just brought them straight down into a clip, then into an inverted ponytail.
The second one was pretty easy to do because I just made two braids and wrapped them around the chopstick on the right, then used the one on the left to hold all of the hair in place.
In my opinion, I failed the next hairstyle because it doesn’t really look like a french twist. It looks more like a bun because my hair was too slick to stay where I wanted it.
And the last hairstyle, Thursdays, was perfect all day. I started by pulling my hair into a ponytail, then braiding it into 6 individual braids. Then I just twisted all the braids together and pinned it like a ballet bun. It stayed in all day, and still even looked cute on Friday.

The WiFi is working!
The top photo is of Friday’s hairstyle since I never got to post it. I really liked it, and I didn’t have very many problems with it except for some bobby pin placement.
I forgot to take a picture of Monday’s, but what it was, was basically a massive rag curl. You know how you start a rag curl? By rolling it around a rag? I did that, but with my hair dry, using a ribbon. Then I just tied the ribbon and pinned everything in place. (It doesn’t work super well, but it was interesting to say the least)
Tuesday’s hairstyle is next, and it is super simple because I was starting to feel sick.
Then Wednesday which is just a few pin curls, one twisted all the way from the opposite side of my head. I actually went home early from being sick, so you can imagine why it’s so simple.
And Thursday, I didn’t go to school at all, so no hairstyle. The hairstyle I had planned will probably be done on Tuesday next week.
And that’s your recap!

So, my WiFi isn’t working, which means that until it comes back up, I can’t post. I’ll do a recap as soon as I can though

I didn’t go to school today, but here’s yesterday’s hairstyle. I was trying to go for some sort of Lolita-esque hairstyle. I really loved it because my hair was bouncy and cute, yet out of the way all day

I didn’t get a chance to post any pictures until now, but here they are:
The first one is Monday’s. I wanted to do a cute little Celtic knot that I found on cutegirlshairstyles.com, but apparently I’m knot-impaired, so that didn’t work out the way I’d hoped. So instead of stressing over the fact that I couldn’t do a Celtic knot for st. Patrick’s day, I went for an easier route and just tied my hair in repeated simple knots. It doesn’t look like it, but there’s a good 5 or 6 knots in there.
The second hairstyle came from cutegirlshairstyles, and was called “boxer braids” I think. I may or may not have don’t this before, so let me know if I have. Its super simple, just two dutch braids straight down to the ends of my hair, then they were knotted over and over again until they were snug against my head and pinned.

I can almost swear to the claim that I haven’t done this hairstyle yet this year (if I’m wrong, please let me know so I can update with an extant style). Its so simple, but it looks really pretty throughout the entire day. Yes, it falls out. Little bit, but it actually adds to the style. I simply ponytailed my hair loosely, then I rolled all of my hair up and pinned it. I added the comb at the end because I thought it would be pretty.
